A PE colorway made for the Japanese-born NBA player, the Rui Hachimura x Air Jordan 34 Heritage showcases multicolor designs inspired by the athlete’s split cultural roots. On the left shoe we have a tile-like pattern using multicolor while the right shoe features floral as a tribute to the cherry blossom. The right shoe’s textile upper is also designed to feel like washi—traditional Japanese paper—while underfoot, the midsole houses an Eclipse Plate and Zoom Air to support the fit. On the heel we have embroidered ‘Welcome to the Zoo’ while on the bottom of the tongue is teeth. Finishing the look is a Gum rubber outsole.
